Be an Animal Friend!

On the Open Doors Days of NGOs, we held an info stall in Zagreb and invited everyone to become a member, offer support, and volunteer, surprising new members with a small gift.

Adopt Another Animal!

We joined the Shelter for Abandoned Animals of the City of Zagreb and the City Office for Agriculture and Forestry in the street action “Adopt Another Animal!”.

News Flash

• We wrote to the Ministry of Agriculture to suggest that they should establish an inspection for animal protection as a subdivision of the veterinary inspection department at the Veterinary Directorate, Croatian Ministry of Agriculture.
• We sent a request to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia that an animal department be established within the police administration in the Republic of Croatia, in order to develop an organized and effective system of animal protection in Croatia.
• Following the case of horror on Branko Borkovic farm near Ivanic Grad, we pressed charges against Borkovic for mistreatment of animals and sent a demand to abolish incentives for animal breeding.
• To the Ministry of Agriculture we sent a request for the ban of all horse log dragging competition event, prompted by the events where horses were competing in dragging logs in Lic, Bater, Backe Ostarije and other parts of Croatia.
• We participated on Veganmania in Graz and Vienna.
